Mariner 67, Seacrest Country Day 34: The resurgent Tritons (10-2) will take on Gulfport Boca Ciega on Saturday in the New Year’s Shootout. The game will be played at Varsity Lakes Middle School.
Port Charlotte Community Christian 58, North Fort Myers 36: The Red Knights (4-7) are idle until a home game against Island Coast on Jan. 9.
Immokalee 85, Ida Baker 56: The Bulldogs (6-5) lost to Immokalee for the second game in a row. Ida Baker plays Wesley Chapel Wiregrass Ranch at 2:30 p.m.today.

Cape Coral 58, Oasis 33: The Seahawks (3-5) reached Thursday’s tournament final with a win against the Sharks (0-9). Cape’s opponent will be the host team, South Fort Myers, which defeated East Lee County, 70-62.
Girls
Mariner 75, East Lee County 7; Mariner 60, Island Coast 32: The Tritons (12-2) advanced to the championship of the girls tournament. Against East Lee County, Naomi Darrett scored 22 points and made 6 steals; Alexia Poposki scored 18 points, 7 steals and 5 rebounds; and D’Yanis Jiminez added 16 points and 7 steals. Darrett added 20 points and 8 rebounds, Jiminez 18 points and Poposki 12 against Island Coast. Today’s final against Riverdale is scheduled for 5 p.m.
