FSW rolls over Broward
Four players scored in double figures as the Florida Southwestern women’s basketball team picked up a 90-78 win at Broward Wednesday night.
With the win, the Bucs improve to 7-2 on the season, while the Seahawks fall to 2-6 on the year.
The Purple and Aqua, who led by as many as 30 points, were led by 20 points from sophomore LaToya Ashman. Sophomore Erna Normil and freshman Tina Stephens each finished with 14 points, while sophomore Kiara Meeks chipped in with 12 points. Sophomore Amanda Oliver tallied seven points, 10 rebounds and three steals..
The Bucs are back in action this weekend (Dec. 1-2) when they travel to Daytona, Fla., to participate in the Florida JUCO Shootout. FSW will take on Tallahassee CC on Dec. 1 at 5 p.m., before facing Santa Fe on Dec. 2 at 6 p.m.
