Blades keep double-digit division lead

Through Wednesday’s 3-2 loss to the Wings at Kalamazoo, the Florida Everblades (41-22) enter the final weeks of the ECHL regular season maintaining its 12-point lead in the South Division standings over Greenville (35-29).

With just nine games left in the season before the playoffs begin, the Everblades play their next three games on consecutive nights starting Friday and Saturday at Toledo (46-17), which owns the league’s best record, and the road trip finale at Fort Wayne on Sunday.

The Blades return home to Germain Arena on March 26 for three games against Kalamazoo in four nights. After that comes two road games at Orlando and the season finale on April 8 at home with Orlando.
