Bourque, Red Knights blank Pirates 4-0
Peyton Bourque pitched a complete-game, six-hit shutout Wednesday night to lift North Fort Myers to a 4-0 victory over Port Charlotte.
Bourque (2-1) struck out just two batters, but scattered the six hits in his second win. He also contributed a base hit at the plate.
Jacob Park contributed two hits as did Dalton Williams, who drove in one of two runs scored in the second inning. The other run in the second scored on a passed ball. The Red Knights (5-10) added insurance runs in the third and fifth innings.
The Red Knights host Estero on Friday.
