Sanibel resort hosts tennis showcase
Sundial Beach Resort & Spa is hosting the second Tennis Showcase and Pro-Am event with professional tennis player Jesse Witten and friends.
Guests can enjoy some of the best tennis in the area with an exhibition on Friday at Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel. Admission is free for spectators.
Witten, originally from Naples, is a professional player who recently competed in the 2015 U.S. Open qualifying tournament. He is a former Lely High School tennis star and University of Kentucky All-American.
During the 1:30 p.m. exhibition a raffle will award great prizes. Beverages will be available for purchase.
Immediately following the exhibition, comes an opportunity for amateur players to compete against a professional. Space is limited so advance reservations are a must by calling Erica Cossairt at 239-395-6025. The cost is $25 per person.
