Baker sweeps Gateway 3-0
Even without Amanda Gross, who was out with an injury, the Ida Baker Bulldogs scored a straight-set victory over Gateway Charter Wednesday night at Baker.
Alicia Marzullo stepped up to spell Gross with 10 service aces, 11 kill and two digs to lead the Bulldogs to a 25-21, 25-23, 25-13 victory.
Sydney Sammons contributed two aces, three kills and six diggs while Val Carvajal handed out 10 assists
The Bulldogs (10-13) host Oasis on Thursday.
