Volleyball
Cape Coral 3, Cypress Lake 0: Alayshia Henry and Deidre Cheremond led Cape Coral with five kills apiece last Thursday to claim a 25-13, 25-8, 25-17 win.
Mackenzie Buss served up four aces to go with 10 digs for the Seahawks (11-6). Hannah Galbreath and Danielle Smith each had two blocks with Smith adding five aces.
North Fort Myers 3, Island Coast 0: North downed Island Coast in straight sets last Thursday, 25-11, 25-20, 25-15.
Meagan Harward led the Gators with three kills while Riley Hare connected for 16 digs and Mikaelah Monahan served up four aces.
Bishop Verot 3, Gateway Charter 0: Verot had little trouble handing the visitors a 25-2, 25-6, 25-3 defeat.
Nikki Sabatino led the Vikings (18-2) with 11 kills and 12 service aces. Alyssa Collins delivered 10 aces and Allie Gerlach handed out 20 assists.
Golf
(Girls) At River Hall: Riverdale walked away with a five-hole victory last Thursday over Ida Baker, which showed up with just three players.
Baker’s Maggie Coffman carded a score of 28 to share medalist honors for the match. Elissa Ware scored 36 and Emily Pais 45 for the Bulldogs.
(Boys) At Palmetto Pine: Blake Donnelly’s medalist-winning score of 5-over-41 led the Bulldogs past Riverdale last Thursday 171-186.
T.J. Clapp backed Donnelly with a score of 42 with Alec DiLallo adding 43 and Adrian Strey 45.
Mark Iwinski shot 43 to top Riverdale.
