Teamwork nets Tritons first win
Teamwork paid off Wednesday night as Mariner posted its first volleyball victory of the season in a 25-14, 25-14, 25-16 victory at East Lee County.
Senior Jasmine O’Neill led the Tritons with five kills to go with three digs and five service points. Junior Abby Love contributed four kills while sophomore setter Kayleigh Acosta distributed seven assists and was credited with two digs.
“Tonight our girls came out with confidence and put away our first win,” said Tritons coach Brigid Zalesak.
The Tritons host Immokalee on Thursday.
