The entire cast of the musical Footloose, now playing at the Broadway Palm Theater, will be spending part of their off-night time at Hammond Stadium on Monday by singing the National Anthem before the Fort Myers Miracle play the Lakeland Tigers.

In celebration of the 1984 smash hit film and musical production, the Miracle are offering 84-cent general admission tickets to any fan dressed in 1980s style clothing, such as jean jackets, Air Jordan sneakers, that neon windbreaker or any other vintage secrets hiding in the closet.

Footloose performances run Wednesday through Sunday evenings through Aug. 15 at Broadway Palm on Colonial Boulevard plus selected matinee performances. Tickets range from $37-$60 and are available at the theater box office or online at broadwaypalm.com.

The Miracle (15-12, 53-44) open a six-game homestand Friday night with the final two games of a split series with the Tampa Yankees (13-13). The Lakeland Tigers (6-19) follow the Yankees for four games.

The Yankees opened the current series in Tampa Wednesday night with a 6-2 victory. The teams squared off again Thursday before heading to Fort Myers for Friday’s game.
