Forward Evan Bloodoff has agreed to terms to play for the Florida Everblades for the upcoming 2015-16 ECHL season, the team announced Wednesday.

Bloodoff, 24, returns to the Everblades after posting 32 points (20g, 12a) in 48 games played with the team last season. He also contributed three assists in nine postseason appearances.

The 5-foot-11, 205-pounder totaled 38 points (24g,14a) in 70 games split between the Gwinnett Gladiators (29 pts, 55 games) and the Everblades (9 pts, 15 games) in the 2013-14 season. Bloodoff was initially acquired by the ‘Blades from Gwinnett on March 12, 2014.

“We are pleased to be able to bring back one of our more popular players last season,” said Everblades coach Greg Poss. “Evan possesses high-end NHL speed. He was slowed last season by a wrist injury, but was on a torrid scoring pace just before the injury. He is a dynamic player, and also has good leadership qualities”

The Everblades open the new season at Germain Arena on Oct. 16-17, against the Gwinnett Gladiators.
