Coral Oaks hosts PGA events

The PGA of America once again is recognizing the month of July as “Family Golf Month.”
Coral Oaks Golf Course stands ready to support the initiative which promotes the game of golf to new and experienced golfers alike and encourages quality time be spent among families.
Coral Oaks is offering three specials from July 1-31 to make it more economical for families to golf together. These deals include a round of golf for a family of four for $40 (two adults & two children under 18) with carts after noon; free driving range token for son/daughter (under 18) with purchase of an adult range token; and child plays with cart for $2.50 after noon or walks for free after 2 p.m. when accompanied by an adult paying regular rates.
In addition to Family Golf Month specials, Coral Oaks supports the PGA’s “Tee It Forward” initiative with the addition of new silver tees for a shorter playing option. The purpose of “Tee It Forward” is to encourage golfers to play the course at a length that is aligned with their average driving distance, thus improving playability and enjoyment.
“We are pleased to support the PGA’s Family Golf Month and Tee It Forward initiatives at Coral Oaks,” said course manager Allen Manguson, PGA Professional. “We hope plenty of families will take advantage of the specials and give the idea of teeing it forward a shot to make the game even more fun.”
