Tritons fall at Lehigh 75-68

Mariner led early, but Lehigh responded in the second half to knock off the Tritons 75-68 Saturday night.

Rodney Hunter pitched in 24 points to lead the Tritons with Jamel Myers adding 12.

Despite leading by two points at the halftime break, the Tritons fell behind by five in the third quarter and never quite caught up down the stretch.

“The second half pace did not favor us,” said Tritons coach James Harris. “It was a great environment, though.”

Thaddeus Ward led with 11 points and Hunter Hand added 10 for the Vikings (9-15, who play at Fort Myers next Friday.
