Cypress Lake CC hires head pro
Cypress Lake Country Club named Jon Pazdera as head golf professional, the club announced on Monday.
“I’m looking forward to providing great customer service to our members and their guests,” Pazdera said in a prepared statement. “I know I’m doing my job right when I see that guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience every time they come to the club.”
Pazdera was introduced to golf at the age of 5 when his parents began managing his grandfather’s 9-hole golf course. A graduate of Ferris State University’s professional golf management program, Pazdera completed internships in Rhode Island, Michigan and Wisconsin and became a member of the PGA in 2005.
Prior to coming to Cypress Lake, Pazdera worked at The Sanctuary Golf Club on Sanibel Island where he spent seven years as the first assistant and two years as the head golf professional. During his tenure, Pazdera was part of an active teaching program for members and guests, and ran an extensive tournament program.
The golf shop at The Sanctuary was rated one of the top 25 private golf shops in the nation by Golf World magazine.
