Miracle beer festival on tap Jan. 24?

2 min read

Pouring more than 80 beers from around the globe, the Ballpark Festival of Beers is the quintessential celebration of brews in Southwest Florida.

Tickets are on sale now for the 11th annual festival running from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24, at CenturyLink Sports Complex, home of the Fort Myers Miracle and Spring Training grounds of the Minnesota Twins.

Admission is just $25 in advance ($30 day of event) and includes the opportunity to sample all of the available beers for three hours. Attendees must be 21 or older to attend. Children, strollers and anyone under the age of 21 will not be allowed into the event.

“This is the premier beer tasting event in the region,” said Miracle general manager Andrew Seymour. “It’s the perfect blend of exquisite craft beers, delicious food and live entertainment rolled up into one special evening.”

With Phase II of renovations still in progress at Hammond Stadium, the festival shifts over to the softball fields across from the main stadium parking lot. Fans can diversify their palettes with ales, stouts, and lagers from local breweries and international favorites.

“Tickets to the Ballpark Festival of Beers make great gifts and stocking stuffers for beer lovers,” said Seymour.

The first 1,000 patrons receive a commemorative sampling glass. Food will be available for purchase prepared by Stevie Tomato’s, The Lobster Lady Seafood Market & Bistro, and Papa Murphy’s Pizza.

The festival will rock to the sounds of the popular live band Soapy Tuna.
