2 min read

Former Major League Baseball pitcher and World Series Champion Derek Lowe will join Florida Everblades standouts Jordan Henry, Evan Bloodoff, Tyson Gimblett and Chris Kushneriuk this Sunday for a breakfast, autograph session, Santa visit and premium live and silent auctions from 8:30-11 a.m.

A portion of the morning’s proceeds will support Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida’s capital building campaign.

The event is held at LongHorn Steakhouse in Gulf Coast Town Center, 10030 University Plaza Drive, Fort Myers.

The sports, entertainment and travel auction includes autographed items by MLB superstar and recent retiree Derek Jeter and NFL quarterback Peyton Manning, a trip to the NHL’s Hall of Fame in Toronto, and ticket packages with hotel stays to Tampa Bay Lightning, Dallas Stars and Florida Panthers games. Family travel packages to Orlando, spa and beauty items, fishing trips, premium Everblades game tickets, Germain Arena concert tickets and top dining experiences also will bring high bids for the cause.

A highlight of the live auction includes Pagelli’s of Coconut Point’s donation of a private, four-course dinner with Henry, Bloodoff, Gimblett, Kushneriuk and Lowe for one lucky winning bidder and four guests to spend extended time with the athletes – an amazing holiday gift for any sports enthusiast.

Tickets are $50 for adults and $25 for children under 12. Admission includes a full hot breakfast, autograph/photograph opportunity as well as the opportunity to bid on the premium auction lots.

Reservations are required by calling the Everblades at 239-948-7825 ext. 1060.
