Veterans 5K deadline approaches
There are just a few days left to register for the Fort Myers YMCA’s Veteran’s Day 5K run at the early-bird rate.
Registration is still $25 per person until Sunday with additional discounts for veterans and runners under 18. After that, the registration fee jumps to $35.
The race starts at 7 p.m. on Tuesday on the Fort Myers side of the Veterans Memorial Bridge. The Bridge will be closed to traffic from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Don your best glow gear and prepare for a fun event that starts and ends at Royal Palm Square with music, food and family-friendly activities. All race proceeds benefit the Fort Myers YMCA.
