Baker girls rout Port Charlotte 9-2
Gabbi Morales struck for three goals and assisted on two others as unbeaten Ida Baker routed Port Charlotte 9-2 Thursday night at Bulldogs Stadium.
Roxie Fraser added two goals and four others contributed one goal apiece. Goalkeeper Ashley Revis saved three of the five shots she faced to notch the victory.
The Bulldogs (4-0-2) call on unbeaten North Fort Myers next Wednesday at Moody Field.
North Fort Myers 4, Palmetto Ridge 0: North kept its season record unblemished Thursday night by shutting out Palmetto Ridge.
Tori Kowalczyk scored two goals to lead the Knights with single goals by Madison Lampkins and Taylor Pascal. Gabby Cianmino and Macey Earhart. Goalkeeper Coral Jarvis only needed to make two saves to post the shutout.
The Knights (4-0) host unbeaten Ida Baker on Wednesday.
Oasis 4, LaBelle 0: Alyssa Abbondanzolo scored two goals and assisted on two others to lead Oasis to its first victory of the season Thursday night.
Madison Jewett and Jackie Rone each contributed single goals. Goalkeeper Kaitlyn Zimmerman made five saves to preserve the shutout.
The Sharks (1-0) travel to Clewiston next Thursday.

Bishop Verot 4, Dunbar 0: Four different players scored goals to carry Bishop Verot past Dunbar in the Vikings’ season-opening match Thursday night.
Seniors Nick Petrozzi and Vincent Guerrien, sophomore Adam Day and Adrian Urquiola each scored for the Vikings, who got three saves from goalkeeper Ricardo Martinez to preserve the win.
The Vikings (1-0) travel to Gateway Charter on Monday.
