Tritons win soccer debut 8-0
Mariner made its season debut at home Thursday night with an 8-0 defeat of Lehigh.
Holly Fritz peppered the net for five goals in her first game of the season to lead the Tritons. Cheyenne Rentsch and freshmen Julissa Chimelis and Sophia Restrepo each contributed single goals. The Tritons’ keeper did not face a shot on goal all night.
The Tritons (1-0) travel to South Fort Myers on Tuesday.
