Oasis wasted little time Monday night in running its season record to 12-4 with a 25-6, 25-12, 25-12 volleyball victory over Lehigh.

“A couple of new players got some court time tonight because of some illness,” said Oasis coach James

Mikolajczyk. “It was fun to see them step into those roles.”

Sam Bebber led the Sharks with nine kills, three service aces and four digs. Larra Bickelhaupt chipped in with eight kills, seven digs and two aces while Tiffany Schramm handed out 19 assists, four aces and three kills.

“We’re in midseason and we tries some new rotations,” said Mikolajczyk. “We’re building and working toward the district where we have a chance to move out of districts for the first time.”

The Sharks travel to LaBelle Tuesday night.

Cape Coral 3, Dunbar 1: It took a total team effort Monday night as Cape Coral topped Dunbar 25-15, 27-25, 20-25, 25-19.

Heather Souchik led the Seahawks with nine kills and Carly Villardi served up four aces.

The Seahawks (7-4) play at Cypress Lake on Tuesday.

SWF Christian 3, Ida Baker 1: After claiming the first game Monday night, Ida Baker proceeded to drop three in a row to Southwest Florida Christian 22-25, 25-18, 25-10, 25-18.

Kristina Kayatta delivered a double-double of 12 kills, 16 digs and three service aces. Amanda Gross added nine kills, 16 assists, nine digs and six blocks for the Bulldogs (8-6), who visit Island Coast on Tuesday.
