Two-Cup winner

The Cape Coral Cyclones U14 girls’ Black soccer team captured the President’s Cup Champship last weekend in Auburndale. The team, coached by Felix Acosta, has qualified to play in the Region 3 President’s Cup in Decatur, Ala., in early June where they will face some of the best teams from Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas. Over the course of five games in Region C, no goals were scored against the Cyclones and they allowed just one goal in winning the President’s Cup championship game 3-1.
