FAU outvolleys FGCU 3-1
After dropping a heart-breaker to Jacksonville three days earlier, the FGCU volleyball team traveled to Boca Raton to face the Florida Atlantic Owls, who handed the Eagles a 3-1 setback Tuesday night. The Eagles (11-9, 10-3 A-Sun) have dropped two matches in a row.
Men’s Golf: After finishing atop the leaderboard in two previous outings, the Eagles were unable to secure first place in the Mizuno Savannah Intercollegiate Tournament in Savannah, Ga. Junior Daniel Mazziotta (217; 13th) was the top individual for the Eagles, who tied for eighth in the team standings.
Women’s Golf: The Eagles ended play in the Wendy’s Invitational in Charleston, S.C., Tuesday in ninth place. FGCU tallied 651, led by Briana Carlson with 153 (10th).
