Everblades sign Reese
Forward Jason Reese signed with the Florida Everblades Tuesday after participating in the training camp of the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.
It is the first professional contract for Reese, who played six seasons in the Western Hockey League, including 60 games for the Tri-City Americans last season in which he was the team co-leader in points (81).
Reese, 21, is the 19th player signed by the Blades for the upcoming ECHL season.
The Blades open training camp Friday and host the Gwinnett Gladiators in a pair of preseason games on Oct. 9-10 at Germain Arena.
