Blades sign 18th player
The Florida Everblades roster grew to 18 players Tuesday with the signing of forward Lee Jubinville for the 2009-10 season.
Jubinville, 24, joins the Blades for his rookie year after skating four seasons with the NCAA’s Princeton University Tigers.
He was the recipient of the Ivy League Player of the Year in 2008 and named the Tigers’ Most Valuable Player as well as one of two Princeton players unanimously named first-team All-American.
The 5-foot-10 Jubinville recorded goals in 20 of 22 league games, including nine multiple-point efforts. Last season, he ranked third on his club in scoring with 10 goals and 11 assists.
