Coviello earns award
Cape Coral High 2008 graduate Alex Coviello, a freshman running back at the United States Merchant Marine Academy, was named the Liberty League co-Rookie of the Week for his performance in last Saturday’s 38-14 win over Gallaudet.
Coviello rushed for 109 yards, including a 58-yard touchdown run.
