Lang returning to Everblades
Forward Ryan Lang Wednesday became the 13th player signed by the Florida Everblades for the 2009-10 ECHL season.
Lang, 29, returns for his second stint with the Everblades. He averaged nearly a point a game in 44 appearances (16 goals, 26 assists) last season.
Since turning pro in 2004, Lang has spent the majority of his career in the ECHL. Along with lacing up his skates with the Blades, Lang also skated with Charlotte and Augusta.
Blades coach Malcolm Cameron believes Lang is an integral part of this year’s team.
“Ryan Lang does a lot of things for us,” said Cameron. “He is a solid player, provides leadership and experience in the locker room and he is a solid team guy.”
