Prep football writers needed
The Daily Breeze is looking for several capable writers able to devote several hours on Friday nights this fall to cover high school football games in the Cape.
Candidates should be able to keep and tabulate football statistics, play-by-play notes and write a descriptive 600-word game story under deadline pressure. Previous newspaper writing experience not required, but helpful in knowing sports writing style. Candidates can be aspiring high school or college journalism students, current or former journalists or freelance writers, or retired individuals.
