Bromberg posts 12th win, 4-3
JUPITER – David Bromberg surrendered two runs in six innings and Blair Erickson got the save in the ninth as the Fort Myers Miracle defeated the Palm Beach Cardinals 4-3 Tuesday night.
Bromberg (12-2) held the Cardinals to just three hits while walking three and striking out six.
Despite a leadoff walk, Erickson came on in the ninth and recorded his 12th save of the season.
The Miracle (29-23) never trailed after building a 3-0 lead in the first two innings. Ben Revere was 2-for-4 and Estarlin de Los Santos was 3-for-4. Evan Bigley, Joe Benson and Nick Romero each had two hits.
The series concludes Wednesday with the Miracle heading home to host Charlotte Thursday.
