The Jupiter Hammerheads snapped the visiting Fort Myers Miracle’s three-game winning streak Sunday. The Miracle stranded 12 runners and came up short in a 3-2 loss at Roger Dean Stadium.

Fort Myers (23-12) had the tying and go-ahead runs on base in the ninth inning but couldn’t bring them in.

Jupiter (16-18) scored an unearned run off Deolis Guerra (2-4) in the third inning. Guerra took the loss but threw well as he allowed just two earned runs. He worked 5 1/3 innings, allowing seven hits and one walk.

Danny Rams hit a two-out RBI double to tie the game in the sixth but the Hammerheads answered immediately with a two-run single by Miguel Fermin in the bottom of the inning.

Spencer Steedley and Alex Burnett combined for 2 1/3 scoreless innings in relief.

Ben Revere and Steve Singleton were both 2-for-5, while Mark Dolenc (2-for-4) and Rams (2-for-3, double, RBI) contributed for the Miracle.

David Bromberg will start Monday’s 7:05 p.m. contest at Roger Dean Stadium.
