The Southern Starz Gymnastics Level 4 team of Cape Coral recently competed in the AAU Gymnastics Florida State Championship at Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando, winning first place in the Super Large Team category. The Level 4 team above includes, kneeling from left, Savanna Gonzalez, Amanda Russell, Chloe Chisholm, Sarah Meyer; back row from left, Brooke Castner, Jade Hahn, Leah Rison, Ruth Helfer, Rilie Furdell, Lynzi Baxter, Julia Beck. Four were named AAU Florida Gymnastics Elite “A” All-American award winners – Russell, Chisholm, Meyer and Gonzalez.
