Prep Report: Verot crushes Neumann 11-1

Kevin Reynolds and Tommy Dougherty connected for three base hits apiece, including home runs, to power Bishop Verot past St. John Neumann 11-1 in five innings Wednesday afternoon in Naples.

Tyler Bender, a freshman from Cape Coral, added two hits, including a triple. Chris Santospirito had a solid effort on the mound to pick up the win.

Verot takes a 7-12 record into the annual Bud Roth Memorial Tournament next week.
