Coral Oaks Golf Course to host ‘Play Golf Cape Coral’ and Free Demo Day on April 11
Coral Oaks Golf Course has teamed up with the PGA of America to offer a free event for the community on Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. 3 p.m. “Play Golf Cape Coral” is being held in conjunction with the PGA’s “Play Golf America” campaign, an initiative to promote the game of golf. Coral Oaks Golf Course is located at 1800 NW 23rd Avenue.
PGA professionals will provide free, 10-minute lessons and there will be prize giveaways every hour. The event will include a golf clinic and trick shot show from the “Golf Doctor.” The public also can enjoy a “Free Demo Day” featuring merchandise from Taylor Made, Wilson and Paragon.
“Play Golf America is a golf event for people who want to try new clubs, receive golf instruction, and see how much fun the game can be,” said Allen Manguson, Coral Oaks’ manager and PGA professional, in a prepared statement. “We are looking forward to introducing the great game of golf to a large crowd of people that day and hope everyone will come out to Coral Oaks and take advantage of the opportunity.”
To view a schedule of the day’s activities and complete a registration card to win prizes, visit the Coral Oaks Web site at www.CoralOaksGolf.com or call (239) 573-3100. Pre-registration for this event is appreciated. The course also will be open for public play throughout the day at regular April rates.
