Prep Report: Cape girls serve out 12-3 year
No. 1 singles player Renee Deane finished off an undefeated season with a straight-set singles victory as Cape Coral defeated Riverdale 6-1 in an LCAC crossover match Thursday afternoon.
Deane’s 6-1, 6-0 win over Bailey Diserio puts her season record at 14-0. Cape’s Kaitlyn Dampier winds up a strong 12-3.
The Seahawks are 12-3 heading into the District 3A-12 tournament April 14 at FGCU.

North Fort Myers 5, Dunbar 2: Roodelyne Forvil and Shanna Manel solidified North’s LCAC crossover victory over Dunbar with tiebreaker singles wins.
The Red Knights finish the regular season 5-8 heading into the District 3A-12 tournament after Easter.

Mariner 5, Lehigh 2: Mariner capped off the regular season with an LCAC crossover match victory over Lehigh. The Tritons won the five singles matches while Lehigh took the doubles.
Mariner is 7-6 on the season heading into the District 3A-12 tournament.
