The Island Coast Soccer Association boys’ U15 soccer team advanced to the FYSA State Cup Round of 16 by tying First Coast 2-2 and downing Cutler Ridge 2-0 last weekend in Gainesville. The “Sweet 16” will be played in Tampa April 18. In all, five of six ICSA teams advanced in State Cup play. The U16 boys advanced to the “Sweet 16” plus three girls teams – the U14, U15 and U18 teams – made it through as well. Two girls teams, the U15 Yellow and U16 Black teams, won Region C Cup championship games two weeks ago.
