Four members of the 10-under Gulf Coast Swim Team participated in the Florida Swimming Junior Olympics Feb. 19-22 in Gainesville. Kendall Brent (left), 10, placed in the top 10 in five of six events in addition to swimming a leg of the silver-medal 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays. Teammates, from left next to Brent, were Flo Almada, Savannah Bowser and Bean Faunce. Brent, Faunce and Bowser were named to the all-star team and will compete in the all-star meet April 3-4. The four girls combined to win the 10-under high-point championship at the Gainesville meet.
