Seven members of Swim Florida’s Cape Coral team swam a number of personal-best and team record times at the Florida Swimming Junior Olympics Feb. 19-22 in Gainesville. All 831 participants, representing 57 teams across the state, qualified for the meet over the previous 12 months. From left are Jason Tillotson (11), Sydney Ortiz-Quintana, Monica Jaeger (12), Sarah Dostie (11), Zac Keating (12), Kaitlyn Hauser (10), and Michaela Steakley. Steakley and Ortiz-Quintana joined teammates Meghan Cotugno, Nick Keating, Lauren Smith, Graham Murza and Dylan Walters competing at the Florida Senior Championships in Orlando this past weekend.
