Dance to benefit Cape family
A Cape Coral family burdened with a mountain of medical bills stemming from cancer treatments will benefit from a fundraising Dinner Dance & Silent Auction co-sponsored by the Cape Coral Soccer Association and Island Coast Soccer Alliance. The event takes place next Saturday, 6-10 p.m., at The Vineyard Church, 923 SE 47th St.
Tickets are $20 per person or $60 per family of four (kids under 5 free). All of the proceeds go to the family of a soccer coach who has donated his time to the kids of both organizations, including his own, for many years. It is one of several fundraising projects aimed at giving back to this family for its generosity and dedication to the community.
