After taking the week off for semester exams, Lee County public school soccer teams get back on the field Friday for crossover matches that will set the final order of finish in the Lee County Athletic Conference.

Mariner’s boys and girls teams both play for third place in their respective matches. Cape Coral’s boys play for fifth place, while the Ida Baker boys are vying for seventh place and Baker’s girls contest for fifth place.

Here’s the lineup for the boys with all games kicking off at 7 p.m.:

(1st place) South Fort Myers at Fort Myers;

(3rd place) Lehigh at Mariner;

(5th place) Riverdale at Cape Coral;

(7th place) Estero at Ida Baker;

(9th place) East Lee County at North Fort Myers;

(11th place) Dunbar at Cypress Lake.

Here’s the lineup for the girls with all games kicking off at 5 p.m.:

(1st place) Estero at Cypress Lake;

(3rd place) Riverdale at Mariner;

(5th place) South Fort Myers at Ida Baker;

(7th place) Lehigh at Fort Myers;

(9th place) East Lee County at North Fort Myers;

(11th place) Dunbar at Cape Coral.

Girls Soccer

Barron Collier 3, Bishop Verot 0: Barron Collier, which has lost only two games this season, both of them to District 5A-15 rival Gulf Coast, got two first-half goals that helped turn back Class 3A Bishop Verot Wednesday night at Viking Stadium.

Verot was kept out of the net and goalkeeper Amber Law made 11 saves in the shutout.

Collier (16-2) scoring leader Jamie Locke had one goal and was backed by single goals from teammates Hailey Javorsky and Abby Warnken.

The Vikings (9-5-1) wrap up the regular season Friday night at home against Golden Gate.

Boys Soccer

Bishop Verot 0, Barron Collier 0: Goalkeepers at both ends of the field registered shutouts as Bishop Verot and Barron Collier played to a scoreless tie.

Verot’s Ryan Linden made seven saves while his counterpart made nine saves.

The Vikings (12-4-1) travel to Sarasota Friday to face Cardinal Mooney.
