This Island Coast Soccer Alliance U-14 girls team continued its impressive play by capturing first place in the Orange Classic Soccer Tournament Dec. 26-30 in Fort Lauderdale. They won their third tournament of the season by defeating Cooper City 4-0, Dunedin 1-0 and Kendall 2-0 to win their pool and advance to the semifinals. They won the semifinal match 1-0 in a shootout over Coral Springs, then beat Cooper City in the finals 2-1. The team’s record in three tournaments and league play is 18-2-5 while competing against other elite U-14 girls teams in the state of Florida.
