In their first action in 11 days, due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the Ida Baker Bulldogs had a decent showing against area powerhouse Fort Myers Wednesday night, but the Green Wave prevailed 46-30 in a dual wrestling match at Baker.

The Bulldogs won four weight classes and scored another on a forfeit. The performance came on the heels of a fourth-place effort Nov. 22 in the Gulf Coast Invitational. Baker returns to the mat Friday and Saturday in Naples at the Lely Duals.

Baker senior Scott Matos (125 pounds) had the quickest pin of the match at 36 seconds. Other Bulldogs winning on pins were juniors Geovany Pineda (130) in 1:38 and Justin Nielsen (135) in 1:50, and senior Matt Ringland (285) at 1:16.
