FORT MYERS (AP) — Delvin Franklin scored a team-high 15 points to lead Florida Gulf Coast to a 66-58 win against North Carolina Central Thursday night.

Franklin, the Eagles’ lone returning starter from 2008, scored 13 in the first half to help lead Florida Gulf Coast to a 25-21 advantage at halftime.

Kyle Marks added 12 points for Florida Gulf Coast (1-1).

North Carolina Central (0-3) was led by Vincent Davis who scored a game-high 18 points by playing in all 40 minutes. Stevy Worah-Ozima also tallied in double figures for North Carolina Central, scoring 13 points.
