FGCU hosts A-Sun volleyball rivals

Florida Gulf Coast University looks to extend its 27-match home winning streak and 12-match winning streak over Atlantic Sun volleyball foes when the Eagles entertain USC Upstate and East Tennessee State Friday and Saturday, respectively, at Alico Arena.
The Eagles have been dominant at home over the four-plus years of the program, posting a 35-1 record in Alico Arena. Of those wins 29 have been 3-0. FGCU is 106-9 in sets on its home floor.
The Eagles (5-5, 4-0 A-Sun) have been nearly as dominant since joining the league, going 16-1 against league foes since the start of last season while posting a 50-7 mark in sets over the same time frame.
The Spartans currently are 4-9 on the year. ETSU currently is 4-8 overall and 1-4 in the league.
