SARASOTA — The Fort Myers Miracle used the power of three Tuesday night, blasting off three different times and used a total of 13 hits to register a 10-6 win over the Sarasota Reds.

The two teams combined for 16 runs, 22 hits and five home runs in the offensive outburst.

The Miracle wasted little time in scoring first. A two-out walk to Danny Valencia kept the inning alive and allowed Johnny Woodard to connect for an RBI-double to center for an early one-run lead.  A pair of back-to-back three-run innings built a 7-0 Miracle lead.

Brian Dinkelman and Rene Tosoni drew leadoff walks in the third. Valencia came through with a two-run triple to right for a 3-0 advantage. Edward Ovalle sealed the rally with a sacrifice-fly to center to make it 4-0. For the second time in a week, the Miracle got back-to-back home runs in the fourth from Tosoni, a two-run shot, and Valencia, a towering solo shot to left, his fourth of the season.

A leadoff walk to Todd Frazier got the Reds on the board in the fourth as third baseman Juan Francisco belted his first of two homers on the night, a two-run dinger to center. Francisco struck again in the fifth with his second two-run shot of the night.

The home run derby continued in the sixth as Ovalle nailed his third round-tripper of the season, a two-run shot to left, for a 9-5 lead. Dinkelman contributed to the offensive show with a RBI-single in the seventh, plating the 10th run of the night.

The Miracle return home for the third game of the series against the Sarasota Reds Wednesday night.
