1 min read

Dwyane Wade scored 32 points, including the game-sealing three-pointer with 34 seconds left, and the Miami Heat held on to beat the Boston Celtics 107-99 Wednesday night.

Miami had a 15-point lead early in the final period, only to see it trimmed to one on Eddie House’s three-pointer with 4:52 left.

So Wade went to work, scoring five straight points for the Heat, setting up Jermaine O’Neal for four others, and Miami ultimately escaped.

Jamario Moon scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Miami, which stayed 1 1/2 games behind Atlanta for fourth place in the Eastern Conference. O’Neal scored 12 for the Heat.

Magic 107, Bulls 79: Tony Battie had 18 points and eight rebounds, and Orlando got a big boost from the bench to clinch a playoff spot with a win over Chicago.

J.J. Redick had 13 points, and Marcin Gortat added 13 points and 15 rebounds in reserve for the Magic, who have won five of their last six games and moved closer to taking another Southeast Division title.
