Swimming
Cape Coral Seahawks
In the Seahawks’ victorious opening meet against Ida Baker, the senior swimmer had four first-place finishes in the 200 medley relay, 100 butterfly, 100 breaststroke and 400 medley relay.
“This meet felt incredible, not because of the results, but because of the amazing support and energy from my teammates. Their dedication and encouragement have been a huge part of our success as a team. As I look forward to my senior season, I’m eager to continue this journey with such a talented, supportive team. Together we’ve created something so special, and I’m excited to see what more we can achieve.”

Island Coast Gators
The senior running back had himself a day in a 27-0 win over Evangelical Christian. Leaphart rushed for 191 yards and four touchdowns, including a school-record 95-yard score in the third quarter.
“All thanks to God. He blessed me with the talents that I have. And I put in the work. It means a lot to me to have the record, because that was my uncle’s record, and now I have something to brag to him about. I saw the linebacker come down and had to break his tackle. After that, I knew I was going to be gone.”
