Mariner Tritons

The University of Florida commit netted a hat trick adding two assists in the opening round of the state tournament, and scored two more in Mariner’s second-round 2-0 win over Naples.

“My mindset going into the games was to relax and take it one match at a time, and that I didn’t want the season to end. I’m very fortunate to be surrounded by so many great players. We work hard day in and day out to make each other better.”

North Fort Myers Red Knights

Hull took home a FHSAA 1A-11District Championship in wrestling in the 105-pound division.

“It was such a crazy feeling that I didn’t think I would experience, especially this season. I always try to review matches to grow from them and was not very proud of my performance at districts, though looking back on everything leading up my ability to have that type of skill was incredible. Every practice, match, and tournament, my dedicated coaches and teammates are there to push and support me, and I am so grateful for them and all they do.”
