Duvall tossed six scoreless innings of relief for a Tritons team that scored six runs in the top half of the ninth to defeat Fort Myers on the road. Duvall surrendered just two hits and struck out four in the effort.

“I felt good out there. The environment got me going and I loved it, and I knew my team had my back. I’ve been trying to get my fastball in the zone more consistently, as well as my slider.”

Martinez was impressive over 6 2/3 innings in a win over Ida Baker, striking out six and allowing two earned runs. In that same game he was also 2-for-4 with two doubles. He followed that up with a walk and RBI in a win over Gulf Coast the next game.

“At the plate I’ve focused mainly this year on just working the other way and driving the ball to the opposite field. On the mound I’ve been focusing on locating pitches, staying away, and working with my off-speed and changeup.”
