Owen-Ames-Kimball hires Davie
as assistant project manager and superintendent
Owen-Ames-Kimball, a Fort Myers-based construction contracting and management company, has hired Adam Davie as assistant project manager and superintendent.
Davie comes to OAK as a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Davie will be joining the OAK team at the Fort Myers office.
Owen-Ames-Kimball Company has provided premier general contracting, design-build, and construction management services in Southwest Florida since 1982. OAK’s Florida operation is an affiliate of its parent company located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Florida operation has offices in Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties. Fort Myers mayor
to address REIS
City of Fort Myers Mayor Randall P. Henderson Jr. will present updates on current redevelopment projects and reviews incentive programs and opportunities for continued development at the Jan. 12 luncheon meeting of the Real Estate Investment Society (REIS).
The program will include information on public-private partnerships, the Florida Enterprise Fund and zoning and tax incentives and options to encourage mixed-use infill development in the urban area. The Fort Myers / Lee County Enterprise Zone, in conjunction with the Redevelopment Districts and a vision for Midtown Redevelopment, paves the way for new projects surrounding the historic River District. After his presentation, Mayor Henderson will respond to specific questions from the attending real estate development and investment professionals.
Mayor Henderson is a former banker and operates Corbin Henderson Company, a real estate development, brokerage and management firm. He has served as mayor since 2009.
The meeting is sponsored by Velocity Engineering Services and will begin at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 12 in the Osprey Room at Pelican Preserve’s Clubhouse, on Treeline Avenue at Colonial Boulevard, one mile east of I-75 exit 136 in Fort Myers. Admission is $30 for members and $40 for guests, which includes lunch.
