Trump said: “On Day One, I will immediately bring prices down.” Prices have increased on almost everything!
Jerome Powell didn’t destroy a booming economy. Donald Trump did. It’s time to play Trump’s favorite game. The one where he royally screws up and everybody calls him out for being an idiot, but quickly finds somebody to throw under the bus. This time, it’s Jerome Powell, chair of the Federal Reserve that Trump appointed back in 2018.
Powell didn’t start a trade war.
Powell didn’t tank the stock market.
Powell didn’t bring Elon into the White House and give him permission to fire thousands of workers and eliminate critical programs that help Americans. Many of the fired workers are veterans.
In Florida, at both the state and local level your Republican representatives support Trump who will give billionaires’ huge permanent tax cuts.
The worse is still coming with soaring inflation, massive unemployment, and empty shelves.
