To the editor:

I wish to share this with the mayor and City Council:

I am FURIOUS that there is even any talk about the possibility of tearing down the historic Cape Coral Yacht Club building.

The building is insured at over a million and the storm damage to it is only $25,000. My family spent time at this building and so did many others. Get your act together.

My family opposes any plan to destroy this building. It is a cultural landmark. Everyone who grew up in the Cape has memories of events at the public Cape Coral Yacht Club building!

If anyone tears it down we will make sure you are never elected again!
