Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife is having an online auction to augment our goal to protect and preserve our wildlife in the Cape.
The vast majority of the money goes to buy lots with our wild animals and birds on them to preserve their habitats.
Please help us out — bid your best and beat your bidding opponents.
Our top auction item this year is a $10,000 gift certificate to virtually build your own boat!
This custom builder will build your vessel to your specifications. He concentrates on building the platform and foundation for you to your specifications Tailor your boat to an awesome fishing machine or a lazy man’s dream with hammocks and beds to nap on right on deck. Sail into your dreams as the sun sets.
Another top bid item is a home to rent in Costa Rica within a beach town. Look out over the ocean in this three- bedroom home that can sleep eight. The winning bidders last year were delighted with the home and the location. These two units are last on our auction list. (page 8).
One more thing is the NASCAR Driving Experience which I participated in and had a blast of speed in with my favorite driver, Joey Lagano, going around the track at 175 or miles plus per hour. It was a rush I will never forget. If you’re driving you may even top this as you do your 10 laps around a Super Speedway.
